National Trucking Week: Sept 4 – 10th, 2016
Canada celebrates the trucking industry this year with National Trucking Week from September 4th to 10th, 2016.
Please remember to take a moment this week to think about all the trucks and their drivers travelling highways in BC and beyond, leaving on time, arriving on time, transporting groceries and all manner of goods safely to stores and distribution centers, and in the bigger picture, many of the resources that BC and Canada trade with the rest of the world.
Each year the BC Trucking Association publishes an editorial for National Trucking Week to draw attention to the importance of the industry to BC and Canada and, occasionally, to highlight current issues. This year, Louise Yako, President & CEO of BCTA, wrote an article focusing on the importance of proper use of engine brakes.
