ICBC Needs Assistance From 4-6 Fleets for Safety & Hazard Management Evaluation Service
ICBC is looking for 4-6 fleets to participate in their Safety & Hazard Management evaluation service. The research is intended to gain input and verify benefits for a range of carriers.
The program launched last October with the goal of seeing 20 to 25 fleets participate. So far there have been 15 fleets that have taken part in the evaluation.
The purpose of the program is to review the current operational safety practices and identify where the Fleet Safety Coordinator observed basic, better and preferred practices at their operations. The advantage for fleet managers is they can use the findings to improve their company’s safety practices, manage/reduce risk s and costs for their operations.
The fleets that have participated have indicated that the service has provided value and recommends it to industry colleagues.
